Eagle’s II wins city women’s pool title; MPA event held in Carlton

The Eagle’s II of the Superior Women’s Wednesday Night Pool League captured the city championship by defeating the Palace PLP’s 17-14. Member of the Eagle’s II are April Popelka, KayLa Wilson, Liz Auchter, Susie Johnson, Natalie Rooni, and Amber Yox.

MPA Tournament

Thunder Bay’s Vince Chambers was the Masters Division champion in the MPA Pool Tournament held last weekend at the Black Bear Casino in Carlton.

Superior’s Jeff Schelin won the AA Division title; Superior’s Kevin Pearson was fifth in the B Division and Lake Nebagamon’s Wendy Waletzko was seventh in the C Division.
