SHS forensics team turns in best performance at state

The Superior High School forensics team turned in its best team performance ever at state competition April 20-21 in Madison. All members earned either a silver or gold medal.

The following students received silver medals: Johanna Bennis in solo acting, Morgan Dorfman for a graduation speech in special occasion, Bailey Johnson and Isabel Skye for storytelling, Kathryn Krause in poetry and Brittany MacDonell in solo acting.

The following students were awarded gold medals: Kate Bergum and Brittany Kucinski in storytelling; Elizabeth Fuhrman, Rachael Ronding, Courtney Oaks and Savannah Oaks in group interpretation; Dylan Johnson in farrago; Alexandra Ledin in solo acting; and Dakota Nelson for moments in history — the 60s.
