The Superior Senior High School Spartans came from behind, scoring single runs in the sixth and seventh innings, to defeat Morgan Park 2-1. The game-winner came when DH Larry Banks smacked a double off the Wade Field fence and scored as third baseman Todd Florey banged a hit up the middle. (1976)
