ABATE rallies around motorcycle safety

Join the members of ABATE of Wisconsin 1-3 p.m. Sunday for a motorcycle awareness rally in the Kmart parking lot, 3015 Tower Ave., Superior.

Staging will be at 12:30 p.m.

The annual event encourages drivers to remember to watch for and share the road with motorcycles. All motorcyclists, scooter riders and people who love bikers are invited to stand with the group on the sidewalk and hold a sign that expresses their care and concern for the biker.

Bikes will be parked in the parking lot adjacent to Tower Avenue. If you are unable to stand the entire time bring a lawn chair. Signs available but feel free to create your own.
