Pattison Park: East Central Energy hosts a volunteer day at Pattison State Park as part of the GreenTouch program. Volunteers meet at Pattison State Park at 9 a.m. to perform painting, trail work, litter pickup and other activities. East Central Energy provides a barbecue lunch. Work will conclude by noon. Duluth: The College of St. Scholastica choral concert choir, Bella Voce and women’s choir present their spring concert, “Sing Me to Heaven” at 3 p.m. in the Mitchell Auditorium. This event will also mark the inaugural concert of the St. Scholastica Vocal Jazz Ensemble. The concert is $5.

Monday

Duluth: Lake Superior College hosts its spring choir concert at 7:30 p.m. in the Atrium. The concert features American, Canadian and African folk and contemporary music, Irish ballads and classical pieces. Free.

Region: Northland councils of the Knights of Columbus host fundraisers May 9-12 to raise money for Shriner’s Hospital in Minneapolis. Knights are selling freshly grilled hot dogs and brats, chips and soda for only $2 and $3 at local Super One stores.
