The Solon Springs baseball team improved to 5-5 overall and 4-3 in the Indianhead Conference with a 26-7 win over Butternut Monday in Solon Springs.
Larson was the winning pitcher, allowing three earned runs with four strikeouts in three innings. He also doubled and singled on offense.
Also for the Eagles, Kevin Zamzow doubled twice, singled and knocked in two runs; Cody Utyro tripled, singled, drove in two runs and scored three others; Joe Androsky and Corey Utyro each doubled, singled and had two RBIs; Caleb Utyro was 3-for-4 with two RBIs; Justin Andren was 3-for-3 with an RBI and Riley Gibson was 2-for-3 with three RBIs.
The Eagles is back in action at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Bayfield.
