Optimists choose Rindal, Grant
Grant Rindal and Sabrina Schnell, juniors at Superior High School, were selected as the Superior Optimist Club Youth Optimists for April.
Grant Rindal and Sabrina Schnell, juniors at Superior High School, were selected as the Superior Optimist Club Youth Optimists for April.
Grant participates in high school baseball and is a volunteer for the Superior Math League. He is a member of St. Francis Catholic Church. His plans for after high school are to play college baseball and pursue a degree in education or sports management. He is the son of Greg and Julie Rindal.
Sabrina is active with archery and volunteers to assist youth archery. In past years, she participated in high school cross country and track. She is employed at Arrowhead Printing. Her plans for after high school are to attend the College of St. Scholastica to pursue a degree in physical therapy. She is the daughter of Bill and Crystie Schnell.
The students have been joining the Optimist Club for weekly luncheon meetings. They will have the opportunity next fall to apply for a $1000 community service award sponsored by the club.
