HAYWARD, Wis. (AP) — Jurors will be selected from outside Sawyer County to hear the case against a man accused of fatally stabbing a 93-year-old woman.

A judge has granted a defense motion to have the jury selected elsewhere because of extensive media coverage. Christopher Roalson is charged with first-degree intentional homicide in the death of Irene Roszak in 2009. WEAU-TV says a jury from Vilas County will be selected to hear the case.

Sawyer County prosecutors say Roalson and a 15-year-old boy broke into the victim's home in Radisson and stabbed her.
