Hole in One
Don Goodermote aced No. 6 at the Poplar Golf Course on April 14. Goodermote, 81, used a 7-iron on the 140-yard hole while golfing with his great-grandson, Deangelo Spry.
This was Goodermote’s second hole-in-on on the No. 6 hole.

Wednesday Ladies
The Wednesday Morning Ladies League at the Norwood Golf Course will hold its initial meeting at 10:30 a.m. on May 9. Up for discussion will be a review of the schedule and the rules for the 2012 season.
All new or prospective members are invited to attend the meeting. Those wishing to golf may do so after the meeting.
Regular league play begins at 9 a.m. on May 16.
