Ladies’ spring tea
All ladies and girls age 6 and up are invited to enjoy a delightful morning at Bayside Baptist Church 3915 N. 16th St., Superior, on Saturday at 10 a.m. “A Cup of Prayer” is the theme. The program will include music, a short challenge and a special gift, as well as a children’s project during part of the program. Salad bar luncheon
Please join Our Saviors Lutheran Church for a delicious Salad Bar Luncheon, Bake Sale and Craft Sale from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, 1924 Wyoming Ave. Enjoy good food, good conversations and bake goods and craft items to buy and take home. Ample parking and an elevator are available.
Zion hosts casserole cook-off
A casserole cook-off will be held from 5-6 p.m. Sunday at Zion Lutheran Church, 2022 E. Second St., Superior. Admission is $6 for adults, $4 for children age 5 and under. The price includes the meal and tickets to vote for your favorite casserole. Prizes will be awarded. Register your casserole by April 23 to be eligible for prizes.
Chester Park Church’s final roast beef dinner
The Chester Park United Methodist Church Men’s Club is serving their famous family style roast beef dinner for a final time in their current location, 819 North 18th Ave. East, Duluth. Help us celebrate this tradition by enjoying a delicious meal, including homemade apple pie, from 4:30-7 p.m. Wednesday. Admission is $12 for adults, $6 for children under 12. Drive thru and carry out available. Cookies will be sold, as well.
Day of Prayer
Come pray. “One Nation Under God,” a National Day of Prayer 2012 prayer service for the Twin Ports, will be held from 5-6 p.m. Thursday at Bayside Baptist Church, 3915 16th Street, Superior.
