Medicare informational sessions offered by Senior Connections

Senior Connections is offering Medicare informational sessions on May 10 at the Superior Public Library, located at 1530 Tower Ave. The first session begins at 9 a.m. and the second session (a repeat of the first) begins at 1 p.m.

Senior Connections is offering Medicare informational sessions on May 10 at the Superior Public Library, located at 1530 Tower Ave. The first session begins at 9 a.m. and the second session (a repeat of the first) begins at 1 p.m. People age 60 and over who will be eligible for Medicare soon as well as people who will turn 65 this year and want information on Medicare should attend.

The sessions will be presented by Pat Nelson, elderly benefit specialist for Douglas County. The sessions will provide basic information about the parts of Medicare, costs, benefits, enrollment periods and much more. These sessions are free and open to the public.
