Waiting Child

Shawn is a friendly 11-year-old Caucasian boy with a great smile. He has blond hair and bluish green eyes. Shawn, born Aug. 1, 2000, enjoys being active by playing different sports and likes playing video games. He also enjoys music and his favorite team is the Green Bay Packers.

Shawn can struggle with expressing his feelings appropriately. He can occasionally become aggressive when he becomes frustrated. He also struggles with some learning issues and can become frustrated easily. He is learning how to control his temper by getting in touch with his feelings. He is also working on how to express his anger, sadness and frustration appropriately.

Shawn would love a home with a father or brother who would play football with him. He would also like a family with pets, although he needs to be watched closely. Shawn’s worker believes he would do well with either a two-parent family or a single male as he is very strong and may be too much to handle when he becomes angry. He would also do well with siblings as long as he was the youngest in the household. Shawn needs to remain in the state of Wisconsin to maintain his connection with his grandparents.

Shawn is a great kid with a lot of potential. With the right family, he will have a great chance in meeting his full potential.
