Tiger track team competes in Barron

The Northwestern Tigers track and field team competed in the Barron Invitational Thursday in Barron.

The Tiger girls finished third out of four teams while the NHS boys came in fourth place. Hayward won the girls team title and Barron was the boys champion.

Tess Nelson won the 200 and high jump for the Tiger girls. Jordan Johnson also won the 800, Elli Teige won the 3200, and Logan Holly won the pole vault.

For the NHS boys, Ryan Lind won the 1,600, Ty Rankin won the 3,200 and the 4X200-meter relay team finished first.
