Cartier Agency announces promotions

Cartier Agency announced two promotions as Tom Cartier, former president and founder of Cartier Agency, moves into the position of chairman of the board.

Matt Cartier was promoted to president to manage the company’s day-to-day operations. Matt graduated from the College of St. Scholastica and has been in the insurance business for more than 10 years. He is past president of the Duluth Art Institute board and Lincoln Park Business Group. Matt is also is a community steward of Advance Hermantown and serves on the West Bend Mutual Agents Advisory Board, the Skyline Rotary board of directors and the Hermantown Chamber board of directors.

Cory Cartier has been promoted to vice president. Cory will oversee the personal insurance business. Cory graduated from Florida Golf Coast University and has been with Cartier Agency since 2005. He volunteers within the community, including with the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Northland. Cory is also on the agency advisory council for United Fire & Casualty Insurance Company.
