Robert G. Anderson

Robert G. Anderson, 58, of Superior died Tuesday April 10, 2012, in Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center, Duluth.

He was born June 7, 1953, in Superior, and grew up in Port Wing, Wis.

He had been employed by Diamond Tool as a machinist and also by Jeno’s.

He was a U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by three daughters, Tina Anderson of Duluth, Jessica Anderson of Duluth and Michelle Anderson of Superior; his grandchildren, which were his pride, Zackery and Megan Howard, Hailey and Dylan Morgan, Lindsey and Caleb Hubert and Emma Anderson; stepdaughter, Katie Anderson and three step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Edith Anderson and an infant brother.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Monday in Downs Funeral Home 1617 N. 19th St., with Rev. Dan Bates officiating
