Superior Rotary inducts Mattson
The Superior Rotary has inducted Barb Mattson into the club. Mattson is an administrative assistant with the Douglas County Historical Society, serves on the board of directors of the Douglas County Health Care Clinic, and is a committee member of SPACES, a Superior art group.

The Superior Rotary has inducted Barb Mattson into the club.
Mattson is an administrative assistant with the Douglas County Historical Society, serves on the board of directors of the Douglas County Health Care Clinic, and is a committee member of SPACES, a Superior art group. She has worked with Superior nonprofit organizations including Lutheran Social Services and the Superior- Douglas County United Way since moving to Superior from Grand Rapids, Minn.
In 2008, Mattson initiated the Palace Theatre Mural project at DCHS, and in conjunction with nine other volunteers, raised $25,000 to create Superior’s first outdoor mural.
“We welcome Barb to our club, and we look forward to having her share her talents with us,” said President Al Raffetto.
