Circle gives hope to those fighting cancer

The Circle of Hope board announced the nonprofit has $10,000.00 for breast cancer treatment bills for clients in northern Minnesota and northern Wisconsin between Feb. 19, 2011, and April 2, less than a year after making grants for people fighting the disease.

The money is paid to the providers of these services.

This would be those clients in financial distress — including poverty, those who have been turned into collection and those who do not qualify for some reason or another.

This is possible because of the outstanding volunteers and donors who help this organization in northern Minnesota and northern Wisconsin. Together they made a difference in the lives of others.

If you know of someone who needs help with their breast cancer treatment bills through the block grant program on their website they can contact http://www.circleohopeduluth.org or call (218) 525-1905 to have an application sent to them in the mail.
