Tuesday: Actor and musician Gary Farmer leads a discussion of the Haudenosaunee culture and indigenous cinema 2:30-3:45 p.m. in the Manion Theater, Holden Fine and Applied Arts Center.
Farmer and the Troublemakers perform a free concert at 7 p.m. in the Yellowjacket Union.
Wednesday: Chancellor portraits will be rededicated in their new venue, the east entrance of Old Main, at 3:30 p.m.
Thursday: The UW System Board of Regents meets 9 a.m. to noon in the Yellowjacket Union Great Room. The inauguration of Chancellor Renee Wachter runs 4:30-6 p.m. in Thorpe Langley Auditorium, Old Main, with a reception to follow 6-8 p.m. in Swenson Hall.
An open microphone night will be held from 8-10 p.m. Thursday in the Yellowjacket Union’s Shippar Atrium.
Friday: The UW System Board of Regents meets 9-11:30 a.m. in the Yellowjacket Union Great Room.
There will be a science night open house from 5-9 p.m. in Barstow and Swenson Halls.
Saturday: A bike tune-up event runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Marcovich Wellness Center parking lot followed by a bike ride/walk leaving from the center at 1 p.m. UWS’ World Student Organization hosts a free international cooking demonstration noon to 3 p.m. at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 820 Belknap St.
