Kathryn N. Dunning

Kathryn N. Dunning, 95, Superior, died Thursday, March 29, 2012, in the Villa-Marina Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on Sept. 24, 1916 in Superior to George and Sally (Kusnierek) Dunning and was a lifelong Superior resident.

She graduated from the former East High School.

Kathryn had been employed as a secretary at the former Miller Distributor and the Douglas County Zoning Office from which she retired from in 1981.

She was a member of Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church, a former member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court 1190 and a volunteer in the Superior area.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Clarence "Bud" and Bernard Dunning.

Visitation will begin at 12 Noon on Monday, April 2, 2012 in Cathedral of Christ the King with a CDA Rosary at 12:15 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Andrew Ricci, as celebrant.

Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at Villa-Marina Health and Rehabilitation Center for the loving, caring support they gave to Kathryn.
