His letter was ‘spot on’ regarding situations which have also happened to me. I walk daily and have been cut off several times while trying to cross the street with the pedestrian light lit; once by a delivery truck and once by a school bus. I’ve discovered that when the light changes to “walk”, one must wait and look again to your left so you don’t get hit from the driver making a right turn.
I might add that parking lots are also dangerous. While walking out of the grocery store with a grocery cart, I was hit by a pickup truck. I wasn’t injured but one must always be alert to possible situations.

Superior
