Fish fry

St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 4315 E. Third St., Superior, is serving its annual Fish Fry Dinners each Friday during Lent 4:30-7 p.m. The menu includes fried or baked fish, mashed or baked potato, green beans, coleslaw, roll, coffee, milk, juice and dessert. Adults are $10, children are $5, preschoolers are free. Take-outs available and the church is handicap accessible.

Lasagna benefit

Holy Assumption Church, 5601 Tower Ave., is sponsoring a lasagna dinner 4:30-7 p.m. Saturday to benefit its sister parish in Tanzania, East Africa. A variety of lasagnas are served. This is a free will offering event and all profits will be used for educational medical and water needs in the small village of Kisa.

Sweet treats

Everyone is invited to the “Sweet Treats … Hands and Feet,” an all-you-can-eat dessert fundraiser 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, 1604 Banks Ave. All funds will support the church’s youth group mission trip. A silent auction and 50/50 raffle will also be held. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children ages 6-10, and children younger than 5 eat free. There is also a family rate of $15. The price includes coffee, water or juice.

Hear by Faith

Hope Congregational Church, 1827 Wyoming Ave., Superior, hosts “Hear By Faith,” a gospel singing group from Duluth at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Call (715) 394-9363.

Spiritual gifts

Sunday is the deadline to register for the “Ministering Spiritual Gifts” Seminar scheduled for April 13 and 14 at Oil of Joy Fellowship, 403 E Street, Superior. Susan Slusher, Christian International’s dean of the School of the Prophetic, will be training, equipping and imparting tools essential for the work of God’s Kingdom. Registration required.
