MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A virtual job fair for veterans and service members in Wisconsin is being planned for Wednesday.

Gov. Scott Walker is promoting the online event organized by the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs and Milicruit.

Veterans need to register before participating in the event online at www.veteranscareerfair.com.

Walker's office says the virtual career fair will allow the veteran to build a profile, research employers, visit employer booths, apply for jobs, chat live with recruiters, and meet with fellow Wisconsin veterans and military spouses in the networking lounge.

Walker's office says participating employers have more than 14,000 jobs available.
