DNR cautions hunters, dog trainers about wolf predations

A bobcat hound was killed Jan. 18 by wolves in the town of Solon Springs. Six wolves were involved in the depredation, according to information released by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.

Six wolves were involved in the depredation, according to information released by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.

Hunters and dog trainers should be aware of potential conflicts with the wolves in the Lake Nebagamon Pack and should exercise caution, particularly in the area east of U.S. Highway 53, north of County Highway AA and A, west of State Highway 27 and County Highway S and north of County Highway B.
