Wis. man dies in Bayfield Co. snowmobile accident

TOWN OF PORT WING, Wis. (AP) — An Onalaska man has died after an apparent snowmobile accident in northwestern Wisconsin.

Bayfield County 911 got word of the accident about 4 a.m. Friday. The Duluth News Tribune (http://bit.ly/wmwWbR) reports when officials arrived, they found the snowmobiler dead of head injuries.

Authorities have not released the name of the 37-year-old man. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is investigating.
