Senior Connections offers hot, nutritious meals Monday-Friday for people 60 or older. Meals are served at congregate sites throughout Douglas County, and are delivered to homebound individuals. A contribution of $3.50 per meal is requested, but no one is denied because of inability to pay. Call (715) 394-3611 or (800) 870-2181.
Next week’s menu includes:
March 12: Beef pizza casserole, Caesar salad, corn, breadstick. Cinnamon applesauce.
March 13: Hot turkey, whipped potatoes and gravy, squash, wheat dinner roll, cookie.
March 14: Rosemary roast pork, baked potato and sour cream, green beans, 12-grain bread, chilled pineapple tidbits.
March 15: Chicken breast on a bun, mayonnaise, vegetable soup, chilled mandarin oranges, pudding.
March 16: Tator Tot casserole, cauliflower, wheat bread, chilled peaches, frosted brownie.
