Charles F. Camp, 65, of Gordon, Wis., died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012. He is now in the loving arms of our Lord.

Charles F. Camp, 65, of Gordon, Wis., died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012. He is now in the loving arms of our Lord.

He was born Feb. 5, 1947, to Walter and Martha Camp in Bridgeport, Conn.

Charles served in the United States Navy from 1964 to 1968 with two tour of duties in Vietnam. He married the love of his life and best friend, Patricia M. Rowley on Feb. 24, 1968, at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Chicago, Ill. They moved to Janesville, Wis. in 1969.

Most of his working years he spent at Warner Electric in South Beloit, Wis. He retired after 30 years and moved to Gordon, Wis., where he made his new home.

He is survived by his wife Patricia of 44 years, three daughters: Dawn (Mike) Pierce, Karen and Fiancé Todd Glass, and Marti (Jason) Lauer, six grandchildren: Tyler (Rachel) Camp, Brandon Davis, Chauncey Bell Camp, Alexandria Zamecnik, Emma and Dalton Lauer; one great granddaughter: Riley Marie; two brothers: Ray (Betsy) Camp and Walley (Barbara) Camp, one sister: Karen (John) Cozza, three brother-in-laws: John (Vi) Rowley, David (Halene) Rowley, and Patrick (the late Vicky) Rowley.

A Memorial Mass will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, March 3, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Gordon. Rev. James Kinney will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church. Burial will take place in the spring.
