Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College-Superior announces its 38th annual Medallion Hunt runs March 5-9. The medallion is hidden within city limits on public property with a cash reward going to the one who finds it. The medallion hunt is part of WITC’s annual Sno-Week Celebration and is free and open to the public.
This year’s theme is “Happy Birthday WITC — 100 years of making futures” in honor of the college’s centennial celebration in the city of Superior. The Medallion can be found by following a trail of clues given out daily during Sno-Week. Two clues will be announced each day on radio stations: B105 & Mix108 at 9:20 a.m. and 3:20 p.m.
Clues will also be posted on campus, at www.witc.edu/superior/medallion and the WITC-Superior Facebook Fan page, www.facebook.com/WITC.Superior.
The cash prize award starts at $500 for a WITC student and $250 for a non-student. That maximum award is only available March 5. The amount decreases each day the medallion is not found.
