Due to the early departure of the Superior High School boys hockey team for the state tournament because of the projected snowstorm, there will be no send-off for the hockey team this morning.
SHS will do something later in the week for Giselle Sziron, who will compete in the WIAA state gymnastics meet Friday in Wisconsin Rapids.
State hockey tickets will be on sale in the SHS treasurer’s office from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. today. The cost of a state ticket for Thursday’s game is $8.
Superior plays Green Bay Notre Dame Academy at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison.
