Evelyn Mabel (Deiser) Nord

Evelyn Mabel (Deiser) Nord, 88, passed away Feb. 25, 2012, at her residence.

Prior to her death she lost a daughter, Judy Kae, and a son, Eugene Lyle Nord. She also lost the most wonderful man in her life, George Whitman.

Her son, Dennis Nord is the only one left in the immediate family.

Both of her sons had written poems for her years ago. These are just the last phrases of two poems:

Eugene: If ever there was meant to be, a few that God has chose, to be the light that others see, my Mom is one of those.

Dennis: You're the raindrops to the flowers, the white clouds in the sky, you're such a remarkable person,you're the twinkle in everyone's eye.

Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th Street, Superior, is assisting the family with arrangements.
