State hockey tickets on sale; send off set for Wednesday

Tickets for the Superior High School boys hockey team’s state tournament game with Notre Dame Academy will be on sale from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday in the SHS treasurer’s office.

The game is at 6 p.m. Thursday in the Alliant Energy Center in Madison. Tickets cost $8 per session.

SHS will also have a state send-off for the boys hockey team and Spartan gymnast Giselle Sziron at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday in the SHS gym. Sziron was the lone Spartan gymnast to advance to the state meet Friday in Wisconsin Rapids.

Everyone is invited to attend to wish the team and Giselle good luck at state.
