TOWN OF SUGAR CREEK, Wis. (AP) — Authorities are investigating after two people died in a car crash in Walworth County.
Sheriff's deputies were called around 8:30 a.m. Sunday to a car that had crashed down an embankment in the Town of Sugar Creek. They found a 2001 Volkswagen Crossover that had gone off a curve and was at the bottom of the embankment.
The two people in the car were not wearing seat belts. Both were thrown from the car and were found dead at the scene. They are identified as 25-year-old Kyle Harris and 26-year-old Jennifer Johns, both from the Elkhorn area.
Authorities don't know when the crash happened.
