Superior FBLA team heads to state after regional competition
Students in Superior High School’s Future Business Leaders of America club hosted the regional leadership conference Feb. 4.
Students in Superior High School’s Future Business Leaders of America club hosted the regional leadership conference Feb. 4.
The students took second overall as a chapter, but had the most first place winners and the most first through third place winners to advance on to state.
Students who placed third in their competition included Richard Mikel, business calculations; Jack Bergum, business law; Courtney Goble, FBLA principles and procedures; Brianna Homich, cyber security; Amy Wiitala, word processing I; Scott Crawford and Daniel Mikel, entrepreneurship; Sara Olson, technology concepts; and Dao Vang and Kabao Vang, web site design.
Students who placed second include Devon Lockwood, accounting I; Garth Velin, accounting II; Kate Bergum, business communications; Molly Adamscheck, business procedures; Blake Johnson, future business leader; Anna Shepard, introduction to business communication; and Emily Hansen, introduction to technology concepts.
Students who placed first in their respective competitions include Eric Presuhn, business math; Macey Huwaish, Rawia Maamoun and Bethany Roach, business presentation; Jeremy Oak, computer problem-solving; Natalie Kintop and Kali O’Neil, desktop publishing; Hannah Nelson, electronic career portfolio. Other first place winners include Brittany Kucincki, FBLA principles and procedures; Brett Bukowski and Gerald Mikel, global business; Brandon Gustafson and Spencer Sitek, management decision making; Kristina O’Brien and Rachel Radzak, marketing; Dylan Johnson, networking concepts; and Steven Mikel, personal finance.
