BEAVER DAM, Wis. (AP) — Two Wisconsin residents have died in separate snowmobile accidents over the weekend. One fatality occurred in Dodge County, and the other was in Langlade County.

In Dodge County, six people were riding snowmobiles on frozen Beaver Dam Lake on Saturday when the ice gave way, and all six plunged into the water.

They were pulled out, and four were taken to a hospital. Forty-five-year-old Allen C. Aufdermauer from the Neohso area didn't survive.

Earlier that morning, 58-year-old Dianne Galle of Franklin was riding a snowmobile in Langlade County. Sheriff's deputies responded to a report that she hit a tree and lost consciousness.

She was pronounced dead at the scene. Alcohol wasn't considered a factor.
