Counties host native plant sale

Get your order in now for the Land Conservation Department’s annual Native Plant Sale. Orders are accepted through Feb. 24.

New this year is high bush blueberry.

White cedar and balsam fir transplants are also for sale in addition to the usual trees and shrubs sold. Trees and shrubs are sold bare root and grasses and flowers are sold in 6-pack plugs. All plants are sold in small quantities at a low cost. Proceeds from this sale fund scholarships for local students and teachers.

Pick up an order form at the following locations in Ashland, Bayfield, Iron and Douglas counties.
