Jack E. Zembo, 66, of Patzau, passed away peacefully on Feb. 4, 2012, after a difficult battle with cancer.
He was born Sept. 10, 1945, to Walter and Eleanor Zembo. After graduating from Central High School in Superior, he enlisted in the United States Military where he specialized in radio communications. After serving his country, Jack worked many jobs before retiring from Midland Services in 2008.
Jack could always be found at Amsoil Speedway during racing season and was an active member of the S.W.O.R.D.S ATV club. He had the gift of gab and never met a stranger. He enjoyed spending time with family at Lake Dennis, socializing with friends, and tinkering with anything that had an engine. More than anything, Jack loved being a father.
Jack leaves behind three loving sons, Justin (Rochelle), Brody, Travis; Grandsons Devan and Landen, and many cousins and friends who were near and dear to him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jim, and grandsons Dillon and Logan.
Jack was the epitome of awesome and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of Jack's life will take place on Saturday, Feb.y 18th from 11-3 at the Superior Town Hall. All who knew Jack are welcome to attend to help us honor and remember him.
