Solon Springs improves to 15-2

The Solon Springs boys basketball team defeated Shell Lake 54-41 Tuesday in a non-conference game to improve to 15-2 overall.

Phil Larson led the Eagles with 17 points, going 5-for-6 at the free throw line, and Cody Utyro added 10 points. Kyle Vandenberghe and Daniel Gengenbach added eight points each, Jake Dahlberg had six and Corey Utyro had five.

Solon Springs was 7-of-8 from the free-throw line as a team.
