Women’s gathering focuses on outreach

“Outreach and Beyond,” affiliated with Stonecroft Ministries, is the theme of this month’s Christian Women’s Gathering in Superior.

The program features Nicky Wilson of Superior, a family services coordinator for the Superior school district, and will focus on several aspects of assistance to young people in need.

The main speaker is Pastor Thomas Bush of Bayside Baptist Church. Bush is youth pastor at Bayside Baptist Church and talks about outreach to youth and encouraging young people to reach out beyond themselves.

The Christian Women’s Gathering meets for brunch 10-11:30 a.m. Feb. 29 at Barker’s Island Inn, Michigan/Ontario Room, 300 Marina Drive, Superior. Advance brunch reservations and cancellations are due by Feb. 24. Call Lois at (715) 398-3175. Cost is $11 and includes the program, meal, tip and tax.
