WEDDING: Nye-Bourget

Patricia Nye of Superior, daughter of John and Betsy Nye of Superior, exchanged vows with Adam Bourget of Fall Creek, Wis., on Sept. 10, 2011. He is the son of Andy and Roxi Bourget of Fall Creek, Wis.

The couple was married at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Father James Tobolski officiating. Genevieve Teasley, sister of the bride, served as the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Bridget Gormley, Angie Weigel, Michelle Johnstad and Sarah Nye. Annika Nye, niece of the bride, served as the flower girl.

Brandon DeGrasse, friend of the groom, served as the best man. Chris Nye, Ryan Weigel, Travis Bourget and Casey Nye served as groomsmen. Keegan Nye, nephew of the bride, served as the ring bearer.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Superior High School, and in 2008, earned a bachelor’s degree in K-12 physical education, health education and adapted PE from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. She is employed as a elementary physical educator at Iola-Scandinavia Elementary School, Iola, Wis.

The groom is a 2004 graduate of Fall Creek High School, Fall Creek, Wis., and in 2009 earned a bachelor’s degree in soils and waste management with minors in soil science and business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. He is employed as an environmental manager for Allen’s Inc., Fairwater, Wis.
