Members of the public will also have the opportunity to adopt a book for the library. A selection of fiction and non-fiction books for children and adults will be on display, and individuals, organizations and businesses may select books to purchase for the library. A bookplate with the name of the donor will be placed in the book, and the donor may elect to be the first person to check the book out of the library.
“We have many book lovers in our area who will find adopting a book a satisfying way to support our library,” commented Bare. “Adopting a book for the library is also a wonderful way to honor the birthdays and special achievements of friends and relatives,” said Bare.
Music for the event will be provided by Kevin Hoeschen, and Superior High School students.
The Love Your Local Artists event is free and open to the public. Refreshments served by the Friends of the Library.
