Helen C. Shereda

Helen C. Shereda, 103, Lake Nebagamon area resident, died Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, at Middle River Health and Rehabilitation Center, Hawthorne.

Helen loved her Lord and served Him in various capacities at the Hawthorne Assembly of God over her lifetime. Helen was foster mom to 46 children.

She is survived by four generations of nieces, nephews and cousins; one sister-in-law, Doris Hansen; and longtime dear friend and caregiver, Lois Moss.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Charlie" Shereda; one infant daughter, Janet; infant son Henry Charles and her siblings.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Hawthorne Assembly of God Church, 6366 S. County Rd. E, Hawthorne Wisconsin 54842.

Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
