A Solon Springs teen who sexually assaulted two women at Ravine Park in Lake Nebagamon after the trio spent the evening drinking vodka and swimming together will spend a year on probation and three days in jail.

Justin Reynolds Cadreau, 17, was originally charged with third-degree sexual assault and second-degree sexual assault, intoxicated victim, in Douglas County Circuit Court.

On Jan. 20, he pleaded guilty to two amended counts of fourth-degree sexual assault. On the first count, he was sentenced to one-year probation and three days in jail. In addition, Cadreau was ordered to undergo a psychological evaluation and follow any recommendations, have no contact with the victims and pay $379 in court costs and surcharge.

A deferred judgment of conviction agreement was entered on the second count. If Cadreau abides by all laws, complies with the terms of his bail and the conditions of his probation through July 20, 2013, the state will amend the count to an ordinance violation of disorderly conduct with no added consequences.

According to the criminal complaint:

Both females told law enforcement officers they were very drunk and went to sleep in a tent at the park. Each remembered Cadreau entering the tent and having sex with them. Neither woman gave him permission to do so.

The teen initially denied having sex with the females, but later admitted doing so. He admitted to Douglas County Sheriff’s Department Investigator Brad Hoyt that both females were so intoxicated that they could not make reasonable decisions for themselves.
