When someone you love is growing older or living with a disability, you should know where to turn.

When someone you love is growing older or living with a disability, you should know where to turn.

The Douglas County Aging and Disability Resource Center is available to help. The center is a one-stop shop for people to find resources and services available in the community to meet the needs the disabled and aging.

Often times our loved ones may struggle with the decision of continuing to live in their current homes, but counseling is available to help people make an informed decision about services available.

If you’re struggling to pay for health care services, the ADRC can screen individuals for the publicly funded Long-Term Care programs.

The center also has an elderly benefit specialist and a disability benefit specialists to help people navigate Medicare, Medicare Part D plans, Medicare supplemental insurance, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), medical assistance, and more.

For information, call (715)395-1234 or (866)946-2372, TTY (715)395-1663 or stop in 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday at 1316 N. 14th St., Suite 327, Superior.
