Douglas County Fish & Game League offers two scholarships designed to help support the post-secondary educational goals of graduating high school students.
Douglas County Fish & Game League offers two scholarships designed to help support the post-secondary educational goals of graduating high school students.
Each $750 scholarship may be used for tuition or other educational expenses. They will be awarded upon proof of enrollment in a post-secondary school.
Students who complete an application must be graduating seniors and have a cumulative grade point average of 2.5. You must also be a resident of Douglas County.
Applicants must be seeking a degree in one or more of the following areas: conservation, forestry, wildlife management, soil management, fisheries, biology, conservation officer or other related fields.
The requirements for applying are a completed application form, two letters of reference from employees of the school district and one letter of reference from someone not employed by the school district and is not a relative.
References must include telephone numbers or an address where they can be reached.
Attach letters of references behind the completed application.
The applications can be picked up at all Douglas County schools or go to www.dcfgl.org.
Incomplete applications will not be reviewed for selection. The winners will be notified by mail.
