Relay for Life kicks off for 2012

The Superior/Duluth County Relay for Life holds this year’s kick off meeting 6:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday at Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Hospital, Superior.

Anyone interested in participating or creating a team to walk at the Relay for Life is invited to attend. The relay is July 13 at the Wessman Arena track. Our theme this year is “Christmas in July.”

This will be the 19th annual Relay. Programs and services in the community to help people dealing with cancer through every step of a cancer experience. And best of all, the help is free.
