Police: Wis. man dies in Mich. snowmobile crash

WATERSMEET TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) — Police say a 69-year-old Wisconsin man has died following a snowmobile crash in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

Police said in a statement that Paul Nelson of Onalaska died after the crash Thursday afternoon in Gogebic County's Watersmeet Township.

Police said speed may have been a factor in the crash, which was under investigation.
