Nelson Lake site for fishing event

The Northland Area Builders Association holds the second annual Family Ice Fishing Event 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 21 on Nelson Lake in Hayward.

Registration takes place at the public boat landing on Gerlack Road in Hayward. Bring a nonperishable food item to donate to the Salvation Army to receive $1 off registration fee. Registration fee includes entry and lunch. With thousands of dollars in raffles and prizes for kids and adults, including a chance to win a 2012 Toyota Tacoma 4WD Truck from event sponsor Ashland Honda Toyota, this will be a fun day on the ice for everyone.
