Senior Connections offers hot, nutritious meals Monday-Friday for people 60 or older, or with disabilities. Meals are served at congregate sites throughout Douglas County, and are delivered to homebound individuals.

Meals are served at congregate sites throughout Douglas County, and are delivered to homebound individuals. Next week’s menu includes:

Jan. 16: Hot roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, green bean almandine, wheat bread, Rice Krispie bar.

Jan. 17: Baked fish, potato wedges, carrot coins, multi-grain bread, peach cobbler.

Jan. 18: Quiche Lorraine, cheesy hash browns, broccoli, Raisin Bran muffin, banana.

Jan. 19: Lasagna, mixed green salad, dressing, California-blend vegetables, garlic toast, pudding.

Jan. 20: Chicken salad on rye bread, potato chowder, rosy applesauce, frosted cake.
