ANNIVERSARY: Chuck and Jeanette Martin

Chuck and Jeanette Martin will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception at Hope Congregational Church, 1827 Wyoming Ave., Superior. The reception runs 1-4 p.m. on New Year’s Day, Jan. 1.

Chuck and the former Jeanette Sutherland were married on Dec. 30, 1961, at Hope Congregational Church.

Their children are Ruth Ann Martin of Superior, Sandra Jean Bursch of Lakewood, N.Y. Sandra and Jim have four children, William, Levi, Gabriel and Isabel.

Jeanette is employed at the University Nursery School in Duluth and Chuck retired as principal in the Proctor School District.
