Holz earns first-ever Gustafson Art Scholarship
The Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College Foundation announced that Kathy Holz, a current student majoring in Fine Arts, has been awarded the first-ever Linda M. Gustafson Art Scholarship.
The Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College Foundation announced that Kathy Holz, a current student majoring in Fine Arts, has been awarded the first-ever Linda M. Gustafson Art Scholarship. Holz was selected from a group of outstanding students who are seeking careers in art.
Holz is a graduate of Duluth East High School and a resident of Duluth. Holz is in her second semester of the Associate of Fine Arts degree program at Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College and she plans to complete the associate degree program and then transfer to a university to earn a bachelor’s degree.
Prior to attending Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College, Holz worked as a dental technician, a childcare provider, and as a supervisor in the retail industry. Her new career goal is to work in the emerging field of art therapy.
