Superior: The Superior Eagles Club, 1710 N. 12th St., hosts a meat raffle starting at 6 p.m. Proceeds support local and national charities.

Upcoming

Duluth: Lake Superior Singles Fellowship meets at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 31 for a New Year’s Eve potluck at Carol’s Community Room. Beverages provided. Games available include Chinese checkers, TriBond, and Trivial Pursuit. If you have other games feel free to bring them. Try to arrive early enough so we can eat at 6:30 p.m. Call (218) 940-2248 by Dec. 29 to register and indicate what dish you can bring. Setup and cleanup help would be welcomed.

Superior: The Center Against Sexual and Domestic Abuse Inc. hosts its third annual New Year’s Eve fundraiser, Dance to End Abuse. The event begins at 7 p.m. Dec. 31 and includes live music, silent auction, games, hors d’oeuvres and a champagne toast at midnight. Advanced tickets are $40 and tickets at the door are $45.
